Henderson/91app: Membership System Migration

Client Challenge:

CU App, a loyalty program developed by Henderson for its department stores, is undertaking a project to migrate its membership system from the existing e-commerce vendor 91 App, to a new vendor Prizm.

The migration of CU App’s membership system from 91 App to Prizm presents several challenges, including data duplication and corruption, which threaten data integrity. Integration complexities may also disrupt existing workflows and lead to synchronization problems across platforms. Minimizing service disruption is critical to avoid customer dissatisfaction during the transition.

Our Solution:

As an official partner of 91APP, DECODER designed a cloud solution to enable high-throughput real-time synchronization between eshop on 91app and the centralized membership center at Prizm. Any membership profile update happened on one end will be reflected in another end in no time. This allows customers to earn and redeem rewards both online and offline.

Outcome:

  • Customers can easily redeem the rewards with the points and vouchers earned across platform
  • Enhanced the overall customer experience by providing a seamless omnichannel journey
